In this solo episode, I delve deep into a topic that has been coming up a lot on social media lately - the importance of resetting your circadian rhythm and getting quality sleep. As someone who had struggled with insomnia for most of my life, including childhood night terrors, I understand the impact of sleeplessness on overall well-being. Becoming a mother intensified this struggle, making it crucial for me to undertake a massive sleep overhaul as part of my health reclamation journey. I share my personal experiences and the cascade of benefits I got from prioritizing sleep, such as hormonal balance, boosted immunity, and improved mood and digestion. I also discuss how modern life disrupts our natural sleep-wake cycles with factors like screen time, blue light, and constant stress. Moreover, I introduce my 10-step method to reset your circadian rhythm and achieve the best sleep of your life. From avoiding screens at night, turning off wifi, and observing a 12:12 fasting cycle, to using blackout curtains and establishing bedtime routines, these tips transformed my life and could do the same for you.
