How I Healed My Trauma: Nervous System Regulation & Pleasure-Led Living
Friday Mar 20, 2026
Friday Mar 20, 2026
In this episode, I’m breaking down a belief that keeps so many women stuck in burnout: that our power comes from pushing harder, doing more, and keeping up with a fast-paced, hustle-driven world.
I don’t believe that’s true—and more importantly, our bodies don’t either.
I share how living in constant “go mode” keeps our nervous system stuck in survival, and why so many women feel anxious, exhausted, and disconnected… even when they’re doing everything “right.”
We talk about how the female body is naturally cyclical (not linear), and why trying to operate like we’re the same every single day leads to burnout, resentment, and feeling completely out of alignment.
I also introduce a different way of living—one that’s rooted in nervous system regulation, embodiment, and pleasure.
And no, I’m not just talking about that kind of pleasure.
I’m talking about everyday, accessible sensations that help your body feel safe again—things like slowing down, breathing deeper, moving your body, getting outside, or simply letting yourself enjoy a moment without rushing through it.
Because here’s what I’ve learned in my own journey:
When I started prioritizing how I feel instead of how much I produce, everything changed.
Ready to go deeper?

Nervous System Alignment, Energy Work & Burnout Recovery with Jen Kohler
Friday Mar 13, 2026
Friday Mar 13, 2026
What happens when a healer stops forcing life… and starts aligning with their nervous system instead?
In this deeply honest and expansive conversation, Nicole Goff sits down with master numerologist and energy practitioner Jen Kohler to explore burnout recovery, energetic alignment, and building a business that actually supports your life.
Jen shares her 20+ year journey through the healing arts—from bodywork and birth work to Reiki, quantum energy, and her current work with Astro Egyptian numerology and the playing-card cardiology system. Her work now helps healers simplify their businesses and align their offerings with their deeper energetic blueprint.
Together, Nicole and Jen talk about the very real experience of burnout that many caregivers, entrepreneurs, and mothers face—especially when we’re wired to give, hold space, and support others.
They also dive into the intersection of nervous system regulation, neurodivergence, homeschooling, and entrepreneurship… and what it really looks like to create a life that supports your energy instead of draining it.
Jen shares the daily energetic practices that help her stay grounded—including movement, energy clearing, deep sleep, and what she calls “taking it to the land” when emotions run high.
This episode is a powerful conversation about honoring your energy, simplifying your path, and trusting the direction that feels most aligned—even when it doesn’t look conventional.
Inside this episode:
✨ Burnout recovery for healers, mothers, and entrepreneurs
✨ The connection between nervous system regulation and business clarity
✨ How Astro Egyptian numerology and the cardiology system support life purpose
✨ Why simplifying your work often unlocks the most abundance
✨ Creating an energetically aligned business instead of hustling harder
If you’ve been feeling burnt out, scattered, or pulled in too many directions… this conversation will remind you that alignment isn’t about doing more.
It’s about coming back to yourself.

How Honoring My Cycle Changed My Energy, Work, and Life
Friday Mar 06, 2026
Friday Mar 06, 2026
For years I thought something was wrong with me.
One week I felt creative, energized, and unstoppable. The next week I was exhausted, emotional, and wondering why everything suddenly felt harder.
So I tried to push through.
More discipline.
More productivity hacks.
More forcing.
Until I realized something life-changing:
Women are not designed to operate like machines.
We are cyclical beings.
In this episode, I share how learning to track my menstrual cycle completely changed the way I approach my energy, my work, and my life. Instead of fighting my body, I started working with it—and everything began to flow.
In this episode we talk about:
✨ Why women’s energy naturally fluctuates throughout the month
✨ The 5 things I stopped doing when I began tracking my cycle
✨ Why resting during your bleed week is powerful, not lazy
✨ How cycle syncing can transform your productivity and creativity
✨ Reconnecting with your body, intuition, and the natural rhythms of life
If you’ve ever wondered why your motivation rises and falls—or why hustle culture feels exhausting—this conversation may change the way you see yourself.
I’m also hosting a free workshop where I’ll teach you how to start tracking your cycle and syncing your work, creativity, and life with your natural hormonal rhythms.

And if this topic resonates with you, stay tuned—because the deeper conversation is learning how to build a pleasure-led life and business that honors your feminine energy instead of overriding it.

There are moments in a woman’s life when everything she thought she was… falls apart.
A traumatic brain injury (TBI).
The death of family members.
Miscarriage and complicated grief.
PMDD.
PTSD.
Another concussion — this time in a chicken coop, because life has a wild sense of humor.
And yet… joy.
In this episode of Ecstatic Life, I sit down with Keltie-Jean, author and host of the Do It Anyway, to talk about healing after trauma and what it really means to stop postponing your life.
After a traumatic brain injury forced her to leave the corporate world, Keltie had to rediscover her identity beyond productivity and titles. Add grief, hormonal shifts, menopause, nervous system dysregulation, and a second concussion — and she could have easily stayed in survival mode.
Instead, she chose awareness.
She chose nervous system healing.
She chose to live by design rather than default.
We talk about:
• How trauma impacts the nervous system and keeps us in fight-or-flight
• Living with PMDD and navigating post-menopause identity shifts
• Healing grief and loss without bypassing the hard emotions
• Using EFT tapping for trauma and nervous system regulation
• Creating joy in marriage even when your partner isn’t emotionally available
• Daily practices for self-trust, self-healing, and emotional resilience
• Why you don’t have to feel ready to start over
This conversation is for the woman healing from loss, brain injury, hormonal shifts, or burnout — and wondering if she still gets to want more.
You do.
You get to choose joy now.
You get to regulate your nervous system now.
You get to rewrite your story now.

You Don’t Need to Be Rescued: Dating as a Single Mom in Midlife
Friday Feb 13, 2026
Friday Feb 13, 2026
In this episode of The Ecstatic Life Podcast, I sit down with Shellbe Cucuel for a real, unfiltered conversation about dating as a single mom in midlife — the tender parts, the triggering parts, and the surprisingly hilarious parts.
We talk about what happens when you’ve built a whole life on your own… and then try to let someone in. The hyper-independence. The trust wounds. The quiet ache to be chosen — not because you need rescuing, but because you desire partnership. We unpack how past relationships shape present patterns, how motherhood shifts our standards (and our capacity), and why emotional work is non-negotiable if you want something different this time.
We also get into the strange jungle that is online dating, the stories we carry about worth and desirability, and the societal pressure that whispers you’ve “missed your chance.” Spoiler: you haven’t.
This episode is about starting over — not from scratch, but from wisdom. It’s about softening without shrinking. About discernment without cynicism. And about choosing yourself first, so that if and when someone chooses you, it’s aligned, grounded, and mutual.
We close with a little laughter and some Valentine’s Day musings — because if we can’t laugh at the madness of modern love, what are we even doing?
If you’re dating, healing, or daring to hope again… this one’s for you.

In this episode of the Ecstatic Life Podcast, host Nicole Goff sits down with Jocelyn Bates, a multidisciplinary soul artist, Akashic Wisdom Keeper, and guide through grief, creativity, and spiritual transformation.
Jocelyn shares her powerful journey through the arts, expressive arts therapy, embodiment, and spiritual practice—and how creativity became both her medicine and her message. From painting, dance, theater, and storytelling to yoga nidra, Human Design, and the Akashic Records, Jocelyn’s work bridges the spiritual and physical, the emotional and the creative.
A central theme of this conversation is grief as a portal. After losing both of her parents in close succession, Jocelyn found herself navigating profound loss—and unexpected transformation. Through practices like Yoga Nidra and Akashic Records work, she accessed deep healing, reclaimed her creativity, and discovered how grief can open doorways to multidimensional healing, ancestral repair, and soul remembrance.
We also explore:
-
Creativity as a spiritual and somatic healing practice
-
Soul Art and emotional alchemy
-
The body as a conduit between worlds
-
Feeling safe in the body as a foundation for healing
-
Unschooling and homeschooling as creative, soul-led practices
-
Storytelling, the divine feminine, and embodied wisdom
-
Navigating the Akashic Records to heal past lives and ancestral wounds
Jocelyn speaks beautifully about how creative expression—through movement, visual art, voice, and imagination—allows us to access our inner wisdom and move through life’s transitions with more grace and depth.
This episode is an invitation to soften, feel, create, and remember: your emotions are intelligent, your creativity is sacred, and your body is a living bridge between the seen and unseen.

In this episode of The Ecstatic Life Podcast, I’m joined again by Shellbe Cucuel for part two of our conversation on natural solutions for mental and emotional well-being in motherhood—especially during the tender postpartum season.
We dive into the lived reality of new motherhood: the anxiety that creeps in, the nervous system overload, the quiet depletion that so many women normalize and silently endure. Shellbe shares her personal journey navigating stress and anxiety as a mother, and together we explore grounded, practical supports that actually work—hydration, electrolytes, nourishment, and the radical importance of feeding the mother.
This conversation is deeply nervous-system focused. We talk about why regulation matters more than willpower, how micro-moments of rest throughout the day can create real shifts, and why postpartum anxiety isn’t a personal failure—it’s a signal asking for care.
We also walk through a real client story involving postpartum anxiety, offering insight into what support can look like when a woman is truly seen, nourished, and held—physically, emotionally, and relationally.
This episode is an invitation to soften. To slow down. To stop pathologizing what is often a completely understandable response to depletion and isolation. And to remember that self-care isn’t extra—it’s foundational.
If you’re a mother feeling anxious, wired, foggy, or stretched thin… this conversation is for you.
✨ In this episode, we explore:
-
Natural supports for postpartum anxiety
-
Nervous system regulation in motherhood
-
Hydration, electrolytes, and nutrition as mental health tools
-
Why “mini-breaks” matter more than you think
-
A real-life postpartum anxiety case study
-
Reclaiming self-care as a necessity, not a luxury
